Bartender
Reports to: General Manager
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Job Summary
The Bartender will be at the heart of the action, serving craft cocktails, beers, and other beverages to our guests. They’ll ensure everyone has a great time, whether they’re winding down after a round of pickleball, celebrating a great golf shot, or enjoying a night out. The Bartender will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and uphold high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and company guidelines.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere alongside other team members.
- Provide drink recommendations and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout your shift.
- Process transactions using the POS system efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with event setups and breakdowns when necessary.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
- Assist with the management of inventory and supplies for the bar and recreational areas, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and operational.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years bartending experience, within the sports industry is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with valid alcohol-serving certification. Certifications/training provided by company if necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to create an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- Knowledge of popular cocktails, craft beers, and other beverages is a plus.
- Basic understanding of pickleball, golf simulators, or similar recreational activities is a bonus, but not required.
Working Conditions
- Need flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and setting up/tearing down events.

Bar Back/Runner

Job Summary
The Runner/Barback will play a dual role in helping keep the bar running smoothly and providing top-notch service to our guests. In this role, the Runner will assist bartenders by keeping the bar stocked, clean, and organized, while also interacting with customers to ensure they are having a great experience at our facility. This role will be key in maintaining the facility’s upbeat atmosphere and assisting with any guest needs across both the bar and recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Barback Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies including glassware, ice, garnishes, and liquor.
- Ensure the bar is kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Clear tables, empty trash, and collect empty glasses and bottles.
- Help set up and break down the bar area before and after shifts.
- Monitor inventory and communicate any shortages to the General Manager.
- Runner Duties
- Greet guests as they enter the facility and provide information about the bar, pickleball courts, and golf simulators.
- Assist with seating guests and managing court or simulator bookings.
- Answer guest inquiries about the facility, activities, and services in person or on the phone.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in all areas of the business and ensure the equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
- Offer basic troubleshooting support for guests using the golf simulators or other equipment.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints and escalate when necessary to management.
- Provide exceptional guest service, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality, barback, or customer service role preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old; 21 + preferred if assisting with alcohol service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to assist with various duties throughout the facility as needed.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- Basic understanding of pickleball, golf simulators, or similar recreational activities is a bonus, but not required.
